In the hectic schedule of today’s world we all are surrounded by targets & resposibilities in abundance . Still people dare to go gym & indulge in various physical activities to deal with stress & anxiety and claim that they are having healthy diet as well, but still why they feel fatigued & exhausted and often fell sick .

The major reason behind this is Lack of adequate quality sleep . The sleep is indispensable constituent of your fitness regime .While sleep requirements vary slightly from person to person, most healthy adults need between 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night to function at their best. Children and teens need even more. And despite the notion that our sleep needs decrease with age.

Sleep could work as tranquilizer!

In these time most of the population is going through different kinds of stress , anxiety & depression because of today’s busy lifestyle . And for medication or supressing these mental ailments we use different kinds of sedative & tranquilizer these could work for small period of time & temorarily but not permanently and its has lots of side-effects too like restlessness, cardiac arrest,unconsciousness and many more.

Vegetarian diet

  • Low risk of death

  • Increase risk of colorectal cancer
  • Deficiency of some minerals and vitamins
  • Eating out can be a challange

Non – vegetarian diet

Food of animal origin, including meat, fowl, eggs and fish are included in the non-vegetarian diet. By eating non-veg food we get lots of health benefits because this type of food is rich in vitamin B complex and protein. Apart from this we also get Omega 3 Fatty from fishes.Majority of the people on earth are falls under this category.

Advantages-

  • Good source of protein and vitamin B complex, especially Vitamin B 12
  • Fish is a very rich source of omega 3 fatty acid.
  • A well-planned non-veg food regimen will make the body strong.
  • For gym goers, non-veg food will help to build muscle mass faster.

Disadvantages-

  • Chances of occurrence of constipation, high BP, obesity, high cholesterol, heart diseases is more in non- vegetarian food.
  • Non-veg food harms concentration levels. It also increases anger and lust.
  • It is not advisable for a vegetarian to switch over to non-veg diet. Because stomach, liver, intestines will not be ‘ready’ with the required enzymes to digest food.

Vegan diet


A vegan diet contains only plants (such as vegetables, grains, nuts and fruits) and foods made from plants. Vegans do not eat foods that come from animals, including dairy products and eggs. celebrities who are vegan – Virat kholi , Richa Chadha, Sonam kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez & many more.

  • Loss of essential vitamins & minerals
  • Difficulty while dining out
  • May be not suitable with your existing medical condition.
